DesignKart

eCommerce Web Design & Development

I started DesignKart as a personal project in 2020. Unfortunately, I had to shut it down because I needed to focus on a major exam for my education.

There are three main lessons to take away, you will find them as you scroll.

Firstly, it’s essential that you communicate your value to your potential customers in a clear and concise manner. If you offer something of value—say, free shipping on orders over $100—but you don’t tell your visitors about it...how are they supposed to know?

On the other side, you want to avoid including redundant or unnecessary information anywhere on your eCommerce website. Not only might this be distracting to your visitors, but it also takes up physical space on your site that could have been put to better use.

Finally, it’s worth pointing out that optimizing your site might not mean you need to do a complete overhaul. As was the case with DesignKart, a few tiny, seemingly insignificant tweaks can be all your site needs to start generating a massive amount of conversions.
